LONG-TERM, ARCHIVAL STORAGE IN THE DRS

The Digital Repository Service (DRS) is a digital archive developed and supported by the Northeastern University Library. The DRS collects, manages, preserves, and shares digital materials. It contains scholarly, administrative, and archival records created by or acquired by the Northeastern University community.

The DSG has developed an expansive toolkit to publish project materials stored in the DRS. CERES Exhibit Toolkit allows projects and partners to create a customized WordPress site using galleries, exhibits, playlists, and other tools.

The DSG offers a growing number of services for producing and disseminating research output. Currently we support Open Journal Systems (OJS), a web-based platform for journal publishing, and Omeka, a tool for building digital projects and exhibits.


TEI AND XML MARKUP

The DSG has world-class expertise in TEI and XML markup. Through projects and services, the DSG gives special emphasis to the TEI in supporting XML publishing.

GRANT WRITING

Members of the DSG have experience with writing regional and national grant applications, including scoping grant proposals, creating grant budgets, developing data management plans, and writing mid-term and final grant reports.
