Creating Users

Assigning Proxy Privileges

In Grouper, add the desired staff person to the northeastern:drs:repository:proxystaff group

Removing People

Connecting Faculty to a Community

When a faculty member signs in to the repository for the first time, identify their community affiliation.

Go to the DRS Admin page

Click Manage Communities

Find the community to which you would like to add a user

Search for the faculty member by NUID in the search box under the Add Employee to Community heading

Select the appropriate user and click Submit

Removing Faculty from a Community

Go to the DRS Admin page

Click Manage Communities

Find the community from which you would like to remove a user

Find the user you would like to remove under the Employees heading

Click Remove user from this community

Faculty Notifications

Send an email to the new faculty member using this boilerplate text:
