Creating Users

Assigning Proxy Privileges

In Grouper, add the desired staff person the northeastern:drs:repository:proxystaff group

Removing People

Connecting Faculty to a Community

When a faculty member signs in to the repository for the first time, identify their community affiliation. Go to repository.lib.neu.edu/admin Click Manage Members Open the faculty user page Add the user to the proper community If the proper community doesn't exist, create one, then add the user to the community

Faculty Notifications

Send an email to the new faculty member using this boilerplate text:

Subject: Welcome to the DRS!

Hi [faculty name],
Welcome to Northeastern University's Digital Repository Service!
