Creating Users

In Grouper, add the desired staff person the northeastern:drs:repository:proxystaff group
Removing People
Connecting Faculty to a Community
When a faculty member signs in to the repository for the first time, identify their community affiliation.
Visit the DRS Admin page
Click Manage Communities
Find the community to which you would like to add a user
Search for the faculty member by NUID in the search box under the Add Employee to Community heading
Select the appropriate user and click Submit
Faculty Notifications
Send an email to the new faculty member using this boilerplate text:
Subject: Welcome to the DRS! Hi [faculty name], Welcome to Northeastern University's Digital Repository Service! Get Started Now that you have an account in the DRS you can: Upload research papers, presentations, or other scholarly materials to your [Smart Collections]. https://repository.lib.neu.edu/my_drs Create [personal collections] to store other academic content. https://repository.lib.neu.edu/my_drs Create [Sets] of DRS content to share with others. https://repository.lib.neu.edu/sets Join the DRS Community Your Smart Collections have been connected to the [Department name]. If you would like to be added to another DRS department or research group, simply reply to this email with the group or department name.
