Service and Installation Requests
Projects using Omeka, OJS or WordPress installations hosted by the DSG must follow certain policies .
Annual Check-in Form
Projects are required to do a yearly check-in with their DSG project affiliates. To learn more about this process and fill out the check-in form, see our annual check-in page .
Lab and Software Access
DSG projects can request access to our encoding lab, which has software for many different kinds of digital humanities projects.
Currently, we have the following software available:
- oXygen (licenses for oXygen are available to all encoders in the ECDA and WWP. Other licenses can be granted on a case by case basis.)
- Web Browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Unicode Checker
- Google Earth (application & web plug-in)
- XQuartz (required for Inkscape)
Members of the following projects have access to the encoding lab:
- Women Writers Project
- Early Caribbean Digital Archive
- Digital Humanities Quarterly
- Viral Texts
We also have several pieces of software we may install if we get enough demand, including:
FileMaker, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Oxygen with WWP framework,BBEdit, ABBY Finereader, GraphicConverter, iCab, xml starlet, xmllint, xsltproc, wget, curl, jing & trang, Probatron, Subversion, and git.
While we can’t install every piece of software requested, please contact us  to discuss possible additions to the lab.
