For this project to be a success we need input from people with a diversity of backgrounds. Please consider working with us, or contact us if you need more information.
These roles each contribute to the project in individual and important ways. If you are interested in participating, but not within one of these specific roles, see below for other forms of participation.
We will have robust mechanisms for online participation for those that cannot make it to our in-person meetings, or commit to a more formal role. We encourage you to:
- Follow @Des4Div on Twitter and use the hashtag #d4d
- Make suggestions for our Foundational Readings list
- Comment on open documents (when available)
- Fill out open surveys (when available)
In Person Events
Join us for our two public working meetings, which will be free and open to all (space permitting). Participants will be asked to prepare by reading background material, and add new ideas, and offer constructive criticism to the work we’ve done so far. Some attendees will be reimbursed for travel and accommodations.
Our initial Opening Forum will be held at Northeastern University (Raytheon Amphitheater in the Egan Center) October 16-17, 2017.
In the Classroom
We are also looking for partners to test the Toolkit, once developed, in the classroom. The Toolkit will be completed at the end of 2018, so please contact us if you are interested in testing the Toolkit during Fall 2018 or afterwards.
