We have two new members: Joey and Bahare. Joey works in digital production for the DHQ and Bahare is our new GIS specialist.

Karen has solicited the DSG for things to test and pilot in her classroom. There were suggestions of asking her to check TAPAS and such for functionality.

The Project Toolkit has some updates. Not only does it have a test site up to work with, but Eli has also put in some lovely shortcodes that allow us to move away from the media library and instead allow for dynamic calls to the DRS. Some projects will inevitably want analytics about their pages, and there will eventually be Google Analytics for them to look at. The links to this will be situated in their Podio projects page.

Abbie will be handling the task of building user documentation for the toolkit. Ideas include hotsheets and step by step guides for things like file ingestion into the DRS and how to build an exhibit. There will also be hotsheets for things like copyright and workflow for projects to quickly and easily reference. The draft for this will be presented at the first all-staff meeting in August.
