Wordpress has made some pretty significant changes the the websites it hosts.While these don't affect most of our websites just yet, it's worth knowing that it probably indicates changes for the websites we host on WordPress instances in the future.

Also, there's now an app available for macs which allows mass updating. Eli uses it to manage plugins more quickly. It's part of jetpack, and is called Calypso. It doesn't serve our purposes particularly well because we can't modify the app to show the DRS Toolkit button, but may be of some limited or eventual use.

We also discussed the archiving of toolkit sites. This has several challenges, including things like Google Maps interactions and visualizations not getting archived. This is worrisome because we do want solid record of what visualizations and the like were on exhibit pages.

It was suggested that down the line we modify the Toolkit plugin to work with the DPLA.

Simmons students usability tested the DRS. There was a report and recommendations for improvement. Most of these revolved around sets.

The WWP intertextuality grant got turned in. Sarah will be presenting at a seminar on the 19th of February about the intertextuality project.
