Assessment wrap up:
- Amanda has been making some changes to Podio to improve our group's usage
- There will be changes to fields and apps to go over in the near future
- We will revisit this at the meeting on the 7th.
Rights statements for DRS items:
- We want to have a clear and simple way for projects to indicate the re-use and rights statements for their project and its various items.
- Especially built of the DPLA white paper on rights statements
- How do we scope this? What are the initial scenarios, and what are the challenges?
- Desired long term output: on upload, users could choose from a pre-selected list of statements, or go through a simple flow chart
- We also need a clear takedown statement
- Next steps are talking to groups like archives and other groups that share our similar concerns on this.
Website redesign:
- Steven is part of the WEB group that helped redesign the library website.
- They want feedback for improvements. Concerns include color, text, section placements.
- Some tiles seemed our of place or unclear.
- Top menu hover feature bothers some people
- The husky red can be a little overwhelming when overused.
