- ALA midwinter happened recently, Bahare and Sarah went to the exhibition floor, and Amanda went to some panels and the like.
- We have a Toolkit intern in addition to our DRS intern!
- Strategic action items:
- Many things are multi-year items, but going well, except for Vivo which is dead in the water
- Items available on SharePoint or through email.
- Additional goals to reach:
- Hiring a new senior developer
- Formalizing some things about grant proposals and scope.
- Toolkit development, including GIS and Data Viz components.
- Formatting and formalizing pedagogical programs including ongoing supplementary events like DH Open Office Hours
- Putting out a CFP for the new DRS Toolkit Projects.
- Explore the roles of GIS and data viz in the library and the needs of the community in regards to their services.
- continue working on GIS and data viz workshops and events to improve community interaction.
- CFP for toolkit in will go out in February. Projects submitted will be approved or denied by April.
- Process will be headed by Sarah and Abbie
- We will be submitting a gentle feature development timeline in February.
