  • Syd and Sarah led a workshop at Cornell, which went very well.
  • Julia will be going to the MEI meeting.
  • We have decided we like the Slack weekly check-ins and will continue with them.

  • Syd has an epic struggle of man vs hyphen
  • Syd wants this done before they publish the fall set.
  • Hillary has been working through smaller tasks: one page synopsis of the publishing program, which will make its way into the webpage for the library. The webpage for the publishing is still under development.
  • Also preparing for two upcoming conferences,
  • Giordana just had a meeting with a few people to talk about project to create an EACCPF (technical standard to describe relations between people, family, corps, and is the technical basis of SNAC) instance on school desegregation, intern will not only build site but will also try to create a contribution to SNAC.
  • This summer she will attend an archives leadership institute. Has to do a project, wants to broaden the Boston desegregation project and pull in from across the country.
  • I have been working to get Dave off-boarded and the RAs up to speed on how to train. Also project work.
  • Ashley has been making a faceting system, also writing documentation for the API, and then handing it off to Steven to help make visualizations.
  • Eli has been merging CCIS class work in, and has expanded and tweaked.
  • Trying to do continuous integration, and coverage systems, then merging them into the toolkit.
  • Over the summer he’ll be doing DPLA integration and beginning JPEG 2000.
  • Sarah S has been working with the Science Center's Legacy Genome project, and they have a Filemaker database. They want to put this data in the DRS, using Darwin Core.
  • She met with Professor Brown, who was very pleased with the Catskills project so far.
  • Linda has been making an automated test suite, as well as getting the updates done for the TAPAS release Monday.
  • She is also trying to get TAPAS migrated into the new site and starting on TAPAS classroom.
  • Steven will be holding a Tableau workshop in June.
  • CAMD has a lunch talk series that Dietmar has been organizing, and the library wants a hand in it.
  • He also wants to hold a student visualization contest.
  • Steven has also been working on visualizations for the cultures of reception project.
  • Also submitted a proposal for DHQ special issue, about unique pedagogy of visualization.
  • Bahare has been working on the Boston Harbor Habitat Places
  • They have a few things available, and will be working to update info on the wetlands area.
  • Also going to put information in ArcGIS online, which is more public facing.
  • Sarah C is working on a Cultures of Reception exhibit and writing the Follow up report for the Cultures of Reception grant.
  • Also working on possibly a working group for encoding as a research tool and a pedagogical guide for WWO.
  • Julia has been working over these months on grant proposals. Bound up with attempts to figure out the boundaries and shape of the activities and the toolkit (CERES) are.
  • Writing projects include final/published versions of talks.
  • Also working with Syd, Sarah and Ashley on the overhaul with the WWO interface.
