  • Thoreau project has their install for the beta site.
  • Julia attended MEI, which was very intensive.
  • They overlay analytical analysis over XML files.
  • Small conference but very knowledgeable.
  • Sarah C and Ashley’s Balisage paper was accepted,
  • Sarah C has arranged for a working group - yet unnamed - for people interested in text analysis using xpath and xquery.
  • Two first sessions in mid-June, will be announced again when it’s closer.
  • The library is moving next year to a goal oriented assessment process.
  • Patrick has asked managers to provide a set of goals so they can start thinking about how the new process would work.
  • After a conversation with Marty Blatt, it seems likely that some of the Public History MAs will intern with us.
  • DMP: Initial brief questionnaire was perhaps too brief,
  • The audience needs to be more explicit. Should be written as if it’s a public document.
  • Some wordsmithing needs to be done to assure we get the information we want without being repetitive or confusing.
  • Overall Greg and Param have done a very nice job with this.
