  • The copy of record for publications should live in the DRS.
  • We had thought about it in the past without it materializing, but we may try again to make a "staff works" page for showcasing publications.
  • The Jewish Music Project music. They are currently looking to apply for grant money. We would not take the lead but be party to the project.
  • This project has some complex data and repository structures that would come with it, especially with networked repositories and crowdsourced cataloging.
  • Patrick wanted us to think about Charon questions
  • Does sequence of augmentation matter?
  • We might assume some kinds of media (audio/video) might have associated materials, like transcripts.
  • We can’t assume relationship between components and file types
  • Are data sets and spreadsheet predicted to be part of charon?
  • Prioritization: PDF and downstream magic.
  • Also prioritize, TEI and page image generation. (Maybe XML more generally)
  • We also need to think about audio and video files (need to tease out whether this involves streaming and annotation) and associated downstream magic (timestamping, autogeneration of TEI?)
  • We also addressed Toolkit updates.
  • Spectrum has their install but will mostly work during the semester.
  • Dragon Prayer Book is starting to shape up nicely and they've moved into building the website.
  • Thoreau's pilot site looks very good, and acts as proof to us that the Toolkit "works" in that they put in the items and very easily built a site with little labor and time.
  • We are meeting with CRRJ later today to discuss moving their group forward
  • Nicole Aljoe's project will begin in fall and the DPLA connector is up and running for that.
  • The redesigned UI that resulted from the DPLA connector development will be showcased next week.
  • AAI is working towards uploading to the DRS, but they have so much that it will take a long time before they're ready for a Toolkit site.
  • The ECDA's progress is waiting on a meeting next week.
