New Video Workflow

1. Create MP4 from MOV
2. Create poster using Photoshop (640x360)
3. Create thumbnail using Photoshop (125x70)
4. Create FITS records for all 4 files (MP4, MOV, poster, thumbnail)
5. Create MODS record for the core file
6. Convert MODS record to DC
7. Ingest

Video Specifications

MP4

File naming convention:

• [filename].mp4
• [filename].mp4.fits.xml (FITS record)

MOV

File naming convention:

• [filename].mov
• [filename].mov.fits.xml (FITS record)

Thumbnails

Approximately 125 x 70 pixels ("125 on the long edge")

File naming convention:

• [filename].thumbnail.jpg
• [filename].thumbnail.jpg.fits.xml (FITS record)

Poster Images

Approximately 640 x 360 pixels ("640 on the long edge")

File naming convention:

• [filename].poster.jpg
• [filename].poster.jpg.fits.xml (FITS record)
