DSG Lab Access List

This is a list of people (not DSG staff) who have access to the DSG lab computers and have been given the login.

DSG

  • Sara Grissom
  • John Walsh
  • David DeCamp

WWP

  • All WWP Encoders have access to the lab computers

DHQ

  • DHQ Managing Editors have access to the lab computers

ECDA

  • ECDA workers have access to the lab computers

Viral Texts

  • Viral texts workers have access to the lab computers

Software for DSG Lab Computers

Currently installed

  • editors:
    • oXygen
      • licenses for oXygen are available to all encoders in the ECDA and WWP. Other licenses can be granted on a case by case basis.
    • TextWrangler (as we don’t have BBEdit yet)
  • web browsers:
    • Firefox
    • Opera
    • Google Chrome
  • LibreOffice
  • Unicode Checker
  • Mallet
  • GIMP
  • Google Earth (application & web plug-in)
  • XQuartz (required for Inkscape)
  • Inkscape is installed, but I have not been able to verify that it works
  • Normal Mac tools that come with the system (iTunes etc.)
