1. Finding the grant application package

• • In the Notice of Funding Opportunity, find the CFDA number
  • At http://www.grants.gov, go to Search Grants, and enter the CFDA number.
  • Click on the Package tab
  • Choose "select Package", and then enter your email address
  • Choose "Download Package", and the grant application package will download.

2. Completing the grant application package

• • The application package is basically a big composite PDF file. It must be opened and edited in a recent version of Adobe Reader.
  • Although it comes with a bizarre filename, it can be renamed to anything you like. For consistency, use the following formula: IMLS_short_descriptive_phrase_year, e.g. IMLS_Forums_2016.
