1. Finding the grant application package
- In the Notice of Funding Opportunity, find the CFDA number
- At http://www.grants.gov, go to Search Grants, and enter the CFDA number.
- Click on the Package tab
- Choose "select Package", and then enter your email address
- Choose "Download Package", and the grant application package will download.
2. Completing the grant application package
- The application package is basically a big composite PDF file. It must be opened and edited in a recent version of Adobe Reader.
- Although it comes with a bizarre filename, it can be renamed to anything you like. For consistency, use the following formula: IMLS_short_descriptive_phrase_year, e.g. IMLS_Forums_2016.
